Alison Price

AIA, LEED AP (Architect/Owner)

When Alison was 14 she began working for her architect father on the weekends, digitally drafting houses in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia. She would accompany her father, Rohn K. Price, to his clients’ homes to field-measure and discuss hopes, dreams and realities for renovations and additions. Rohn always had a clever, perfectly proportioned, and simply beautiful solution to their spatial needs.

Alison loved everything about this process: the teamwork it took to establish a successful field-measure rhythm, converting her father’s doodles into simple line work, listening to homeowners share ideas about how to renovate their nests, and witnessing the transformation of homes.

Alison received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and earned her Master of Architecture degree from Montana State University, Bozeman. After having the opportunity to live in the Rockies during graduate school, it was clear to Alison that the mountains were home.

Alison immediately joined award-winning CLB Architects in Jackson, Wyoming after graduation and focused on high-end residential projects before joining Berlin Architects. During her seven-year tenure at Berlin Architects she had the honor to work directly with clients and manage large custom homes from conception to completion. In 2019, Alison became certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and started her own business, Price West, LLC.

Now Alison is focused on celebrating Jackson’s unique natural and built environments with Price West Architecture. She is passionate about helping clients make their dreams come true through new design and renovation.
